This collection contains, biographical/genealogical information, photographs, newspaper clippings, and speeches and addresses of Moore. The bulk of his paper consist of his notebooks, 1921-51 [Broken series], containing his commentaries on weekly Sunday School lessons entitled POINTS FOR EMPHASIS.

Moore was graduated from Wake Forest College in 1890, and was a long-time pastor of Baptist churches in North Carolina He was Southern Baptist Convention Sunday School Board Secretary, 1904-07; editor of the BIBLICAL RECORDER, 1908-17; and editorial secretary of the Sunday School Board (Southern Baptist Convention), and writer.
